ABCs

My girl can draw circles and few shapes translated as kucing or ikan or many other things. I think its cool that my 2yo daughter has now begin to scribble something meaningful as in ABCs.

Yesterday after taking a 3 hr nap, she woke up at 9.30 p.m. Eyes wide open, all fresh and happy. O-oh, jam berapa la mau tido mlm ni I asked myself. She came to me and said the magic word. Whenever she said 'tis', I knew that I need to get her a pen and a book. 'Tis' means tulis to her. Cute kan! :) All she wanted is to have her usual ABCs dosage with me. So the mummy is all happy to entertain her wish.

For the first hour.


Her: mama...tis...*grinning widely*
Me: oh, pandaaaiiiiiiiii anak mama nih.. tulis lagi sebelah nih..

Happy, she continued writing.

Her: mama mama...tik???? (cantik???)
Me: cantiknyaaaaaaaaaaaa..... nih, sambung di sini lagi, sebelah..
Her: bah (sebelah) *clap clap clap sambil kembang kempis hidungnya.. hehe*


Her: K!!!! mama..... K!!!
Me: ya, K. Hmm...tulis yg nih pula..
Her: mama mama mama...tis (tulis)..bung (sambung)...tik??? (cantik??)
Me: wahhhh, bagus.. pandai betul anak mama nih...
Her: *makin la happy si kwn nih.. haha*

Until suddenly,

Her: mama
Me: ..........
Her: mamaaa
Me: ..........
Her: mamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!
Me: *kroooh, krooh, krooohh~~~~~~~~~~~~*

I woke up this morning and saw this.....
She must have been very upset with me.. Hehehe, too tired tertidur bah, kesian anak aku...but anyhow, still I am very proud of her because she did it all by herself. The little things that can bring smile to your face. Pure joy and sweet.

for the love of the game

I ordered these cuppies from hafiz several weeks ago. A bit pricey but very yummy nonetheless. One slight problem is that when I showed it to hubby he said this to me, "alahai...x sampai ati la mau makan syg", and grinned.

Ya la bah, next time I order Chelsea punya theme okay?? Ha ha...

he has several buddies but I guess he remembered the most his geng motor kayuh masa sekolah, erwan. but he passed away last yr due to car accident.

Dikejar

Pagi tadi saya dikejar oleh postgrad office...kihkih

Petang ini di kejar oleh boss, pelik awalnya saya yg mengejar dia ttg urusan gred pelajar tapi dia x ada jadi x dapatla jumpa dia. Ada macam cerita hindustan pula aksi kejar mengejar ini..he he

Dan baru tadi, the insurance guy just called me, hmm... dikejar lagi...

Angkat kain, lariiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!

p/s: maybe i should tell him i have decided to buy takaful for my girl.

No salesman please!

I wonder how did the insurance guy knew that I just got back from my maternity leave, he is chasing after me almost every seconds! humpp... strange??

I am also seeing unfamiliar faces since last week walking all over the school. Salesman that is. Funny how they can randomly picked their customer as and when they please. And 'force' us to buy their products or services.

I almost fainted when I saw the thing this guy was selling me last time. The last salesperson that came into my room told me to read on the brochure so I can know more about the product. It was something related to 18sx and sebangsa dgn nya so I need not to elaborate more kan. He he.

Lucky that they never heard the word 'get out' from me, because by all means please do come after we are done with the exam papers k, not when we are in the middle of marking them.

Belum kira lagi yg minta monthly donation, so far maybe 4-5 legal organizations. Their representatives are quite persistent and annoying sometimes which got me thinking are they really doing it voluntarily. Siang malam call saya. Scary tak? Macam along pon ada.

I knew its for a good cause, but thinking of donating almost RM200 or more per month on continuous basis, thats probably Rm2k++ per year. Oh well, I guess if its a one off donation, that sounded much better.

I don't know I just thought the best person to help help us when we are in need is ourselves, so we should make a little savings as well. Maybe I should quit donating to ww*f and contribute to others perhaps. Fair enough?

I guess I need to put this on the door!!!

Milestones

Look who turns 4 mos yesterday. The milestones so far:

- Raise head and chest while on tummy
- Lift head 45 degrees
- Kick and strengthen legs while on back
- Open and shut hand
- Reach for dangling objects
- Grasp and shake hand toys
- Begin to develop a social smile
- Kick legs energetically
- Bring both hands together

you are growing up so fast dear, mummy is having a hard time to catch up! :)

World record? Think not!

I was running around like a headless chicken for the past few days to sort problem of some fyp students. Now that I got everything settled, they told me that they do not want have their viva. Simply because they cannot make it even if they were given extension of the viva date. They should not have asked for the extension in the first place if they have only completed 10-20% of their fyp work. Hello!! what did you do for the past one year?? See, not even a single lab work. And still, they thought they can finish it in 2 weeks! Wow, a world record in the making if they can do it.

And now they came begging me not to fail them. Maybe the guys are too confused that they forgot I am not their supervisor, I am only coordinating this subject. The next time they come knocking on my door, I will drag them myself to bkt. padang. We really need to check whats going on in their head. This thing is driving me nuts! I have gazillion things to do but I just had to vent this off first since my mind is absolutely disturbed. I am fuming!!

Not worth the huff and puff really. I only wish to help those who deserves my assistance, but this is seriously a different story. If only we have vaccine to treat this kind of students, I will personally poke the needles to their butt! (mind the language, saya sgt geram!!). Kalau ada yang syringe besar utk gajah tuh lagi bagus!

Fiqa and me

I've been asked to submit the punch card for every annual leave that I applied. I wonder. I forgot to include it on the latest form that I filled in. Hmm..will be getting another reminder perhaps.

My exam was held this afternoon. Will be marking them soon after I am done with fyps and plant design marks. Hopefully I can mark the exam papers in 2 days. Ambitious?? Ha ha..

Lately I've been talking a lot about work. Duh. So boring. Maybe next week will have happier post. Hope I can finish everything within this week. Still very very ambitious heh? :) Urgghh... should refrain myself from talking about work.
