Arrived at the office 10 mins to 7. Hubby needs to catch his flight to labuan at 7 am, thus we had to push early from home. Anyways, I know its been a long while since my last entry. I am around, a little bit swamped with work. If I were to blog, I'll probably write things about work as well which is indeed boring stuffs. But honestly, work has taken its toll on me for the past 2 weeks. Didn't do anything interesting lately, so I guess thats why I dont have anything to blog about really.
So, what have I been doing? Not much, away for 4 days, attending conference at pwtc and returned on sunday. It was a nice event, very organized and fun as they had exhibitions gathering all sorts of people from tok bomoh and researchers. It was a promotion on wellness industries in the country so you can see various herbal products and healing techniques. SK did a good presentation and I think everyone enjoyed his lecture as much as I do. I found that the talk on guava cookies and pre-biotic guava drink to be interesting and dr. ida's encapsulated roselle is mind blowing too. These extraordinary ladies are very inspiring indeed.
I saw a batu tungku pillow at the exhibition, almost bought it. It was filled with a jelly-like substance (he said it was garam bukit + gel), and all you need to do is heat it like an iron for 8 mins, and you can use it after that. Very very convenient, compared to traditional batu tungku. But minus point is that you cannot use it as in the conventional batu tungku that is tak boleh tekan2 as it is in the gel form. Too bad kan, otherwise I might have gotten it for myself. Retail price slightly over RM100 I think.
Hubby came along to kl as he had sciencefund meeting on Thursday at putrajaya. We took the opportunity to watch Harry Potter that night. It has been years since we last hit the cinema, the last movie we went to was pirates of the caribbean 3. So, it was really a nice date ahaks, just that hubby kinda dozed off in middle of the show. Must be boring then. I guess in a small way, yes of all the hp movies, i think this one a bit boring for me. Romance between the kids is not really necessary. Hehe, no offense yeah to those die hard fans. But I still like it though, harry potter is still harry potter. Looking forward for more as I do not read any of the book, I must say that I prefer to watch the movie.
While waiting for the 8.50 pm show, we wandered around midvalley and I am just amazed at the sale madness in kl. Ha ha, of course joining the crowd was fun but it was indeed crazy. The next thing I know, a makcik took my stuff that I have reserved to buy. Terpaksa la berebut I tell you. Astaga, I thought it was funny, but it gives you strange pleasure. Jahat kan. Ha ha. It is slightly different back here in kk, i guess probably when the sale signs are up everywhere in kk, the price is still ridiculous, contrary to kl. Besides you have unlimited choices over there. I dont know. Nak tgk tak the crowd?? (will upload later!)
And the food, I had diarrhea for the first 2 days. Ha ha ha, that sums up everything. It seems as though I cannot tolerate spicy food. Or maybe salah makan kali. One thing I regret is not buying any books. Tak sempat la.
I came home and saw that the pokok2 are doing alright despite tidak kena siram for few days, except for pokok daun sup yg FIL bagi. Dua dua dah KO. Alamak, sedih juga... I did ask my dear neighbour tlg siram tapi dia pon tak sempat, she too was rushing to semporna to arrange smtg for the conference. Haih... takpa la, nda kisah la tuh. But anyway, I just watered them yesterday, with the hope that they can still grow. Hmm..
The best thing about coming is of course hugging the girls, I so miss them. Very much. I dont think I can bear it for another week or so. Ha ha. Oh dear, they grew so fast within four days and the kid sis is so clingy. He he.. she keeps crying and wanting to be hug. However, she refuses bf totally. Wonder why? Merajuk kali ya. I am slightly worried.
Conference is 2 weeks away. I am nervous. Still have plenty of things to do and classes to replace. Until then, daaaa.......
