Raya

Hi everyone!

A week after raya and I still am tired of the pre and post raya event. He he, but happy nonetheless. It is still pretty quiet at the office, or perhaps it is still very early in the morning. Room is a bit dusty, and messy too. Thinking of cleaning up the room afterwards. I was away from the office for 2 weeks and it sure helps a lot to detoxify my shrouded mind. I am much happier now that I spent more time with the children and relatives too. Had too much of sate, rendang, ketupat and all those spicy and oily food. I know its bad, but I just couldn’t help it. Hehe. Despite the wet season raya was great, Alhamdulillah. I am sure the kids are happy too, much happier than us adults right?

We went home to hubby’s kampung this year and spent the raya morning there, but since parents hse is just 5 mins away (ha ha, jgn jeles… ) we still managed to spend the first raya at my parents’ place. We came back to menggatal hse on Thursday, did a crazy one night cleaning up the hse, and made preparation for raya as the relatives will be coming the next day. Hehe, ingatkan tak ramai. Sekali dtg serentak 30 org. Berpeluh juga saya, dahla awal 4 jam. Imagine my horror when I saw them trying their best to squeeze themselves comfortably in my tiny apartment. Kesian. Anyhow, I am happy. Lots of guest and my soto habis licin. The next day, my parents came. Menu was still soto, as it was the easiest to prepare. Hehe. Ya lor, I only have 1 hr as we were still at our friend’s hse when mom called.

Oh yeah, btw it was quite windy last night isn’t it. Scary. We were on the way back to menggatal when it happened so had to turn back to kampung as my mom's house was flooded last night. Mom and sis were cleaning up the house in total darkness due to power cut out. On the way home, we saw branches flying and scattered all over the road, trees falling and electrical sparks at three different place followed by power outage. Takut pokok tumbang ja, car accidents or anything worse than that. Be extra careful while driving especially during the festive season.

Boss has listed down few things to be submitted end of this month. I better get it done quickly. For those who are still enjoying the extended holidays, happy holiday and hmm just a late eid Mubarak wish! Maaf zahir dan batin. (sorry, x sempat blog di rumah). :)

Edisi Geram

Hari ini macam biasa ada lecture hari sabtu. Plan mau buat test lepas lecture, dah seminggu lebih saya rancang tuh, student semua dah clear buleh dtg. Ingat senang ka saya mau tetapkan masa bila saya ada students dari 5 program dari thn 2 hingga 4, yg extend pon ada juga. Tup2 ptg jumaat kemarin, ada pula student dtg kata lecturer dia dah ubah jadual, baru tau tadi, dan mereka2 tidak dpt dtg test. Wpon dah diberitau masih insist nak ambil slot saya. Hish, sungguh terkilan ok. Geram pon ada, kalau nak ubah tuh agak2 la. Tak pasal2 saya yg kena cater perubahan jadual itu, maka saya pon terpaksa postpone exam ke jam 12 nanti.

Saya suka matematik, saya suka belajar matematik dan mengajar juga. Tapi saya sungguh benci dgn masalah jadual waktu kelas ini yang tak pernah habis dari awal semester lagi. Pening di buatnya. Kadang2 saya harap sekurang2nya ada bantuan dan understanding dari org lain bila saya dgn paksa rela dah ambil subjek yg mmg org tolak tepi awal2 lagi. Mmg ramai org x ingin ambil subjek sekolah kan, tapi saya tau ramai juga kawan2 yg lain terpaksa juga ajar. Dulu pernah ajar thermo, dekat 300 jugak tuh, tak ada tutor, ada 5 slot tutorial semua terpaksa ajar sendiri. Mcm nak pitam ja bila mark tutorial dan test paper. Ada ka masa nak buat research kalau gitu, dan publish paper?

Alasan selalunya di beri x dpt cover subjek sekolah sbb program lain x cukup pensyarah. Tapi hairan pula dalam x cukup pensyarah itu smpt juga berplums, beroum, dan bertas. Sbb yg tuh buleh claim ribu2 kan. Boleh cecah belas2 ribu ok. Saya taula. Bukan nak dengki, sbb dulu pon ada kena offer juga, tapi saya malas sbb saya rasa weekend adalah masa utk famili, jadi saya x sanggup sacrifice utk itu. Sanggup utk x dpt duit lebih, kalau saya dpt masa lebih dgn famili. Tapi saya tau ada juga kawan2 yg suka dg keje time cuti, dan malam juga... simply because they love their work. Or they had to come to finish off few urgent things. Dan saya kagum dgn mereka2 ini.

Bila dah x dpt buat test tadi, saya macam terpikir nak kena dtg hari ahad jugakla jwbnya nih. Hmm..minggu nih betul2 menduga kesabaran saya. Dah alang2 dtg weekend bagus jugala saya sibuk2 berplums, beroum kan... buleh la pigi phuket kan, bali ka.. shopping sana sini kan. kan best juga tuh. I have no offense with those who opted for the extra work for extra income, tapi saya cuma geram sbb benda yg dah complicated yang saya dan bersungguh2 betulkan.. menjadi bertambah susah. Ntahla, mau marah siapa atau apa saya marah sgt tak taula. Maybe selama nih, menahan sabar ja melayan macam2 masalah kelas nih. Gamaknya belum cukup lagi tahap kesabaran saya sebagai seorang pendidik.

Okla, mata dah berpinar2 nih. Macam migrain nak melanda pula. I better sleep first before tgu test jam 12 nanti.

foodie notes

This is what we had for Iftar two days ago, just a simple meal- porridge eaten with fried fish and mushroom soup + tofu. Menu requested by my girl, wpon x puasa & barely 3 yrs old, byk juga demand dia nih. Hehe. And because she cannot tolerate spicy food, most of the time it is always, ikan oying or ayam oying dia mintak. And no.4, jemput2 pisang is for hubby. Jangan main2 abis tuh sepiring. Hehe, funny how we couldnt finish rm1 kuih from bazaar. Tapi kalau masak sendiri, satu piring buleh layan. Ari tuh buat cempedak goreng pon sama. Hmm.. I normally have less than 1 hr to prepare everything for berbuka, so u can imagine tasmanian devil in the kitchen. haha!

Wanna see her reaction? It is so easy to please her, kan.. But I have to admit, gambar berdiri tuh mama dia choreograph siap2...

Tapi, tgkla, tak smpi 5 mins lepas makan...ish ish..baru la mau luruskan pinggang....

This is for sahur the next day. Commonly known as nasi berlauk in pantai timur. Senang ja mau prepare. Menu campak2 as usual, and two in one pula tuh lagila saya suka. Ikan dan sayur sekali. Haha. Nampak sgtla kan malas nya tuh. This meal is usually eaten for breakfast and accompanied by sambal, but last night I omitted the sambal as dah tumis sekali cili dgn bwg, halia dan serai. Hehe, saya kan rajin. Makan dgn nasi panas, sedap i tell u. U can get it for Rm1.50, cheap isnt it? But I havent seen it in kk yet.

Dah kenyang makan nasi, layan ler nescafe panas dibwh ni ya.

I managed to prepare roti jala yesterday, but only roti jala for berbuka. Haha, tipah x sempat. Tu pon, instead of kari ayam, i cooked prawn as it took longer for the chicken to defrost. Ha ha, ya la mau tunggu alamatnya lepas Isya' la berbuka. Sorry, tak senonoh sikit buat, I started cooking 10 mins to 6.00 p.m.

khusyuk, tgh belek2 something pagi tadi on the way gi nursery.....nak tau apa??? ngeeee....

taraaaa!!... sakan dgn spek panca sitara dia. belum mandi pon aci jugak bergaya..

x ada kerja la nih, tu pon mau gigit... bateri remote astro pon selalu ja ada jejak2 gigi. ish2x..

Nak tgk gigi shayee?? Tuh, dah ada nmpk sikit dibwh ... aiyo menggigit la x lama lagi nih!

x lama lagi payday kan, bah selamat bershopping sakan. bonus ada ka tidak?? hehehe... ada bonus, x ada ka shopping tatap juga kan! I pon teringin join the crowd, but mesti beringat2 bila membeli tuh nnt. Gaji nanti lmbt lagi nuuuuuuuuuuuun. he he. Tgkla lautan manusia in kl baru2 nih. Mmg zasss la!!! :)
